WHAT THEY SAID
&
WHAT THEY MEANT

We all have met people that say one thing and mean another. Many well-known people have spoken out on various topics. We have listed some quotes and what we believe was actually meant.

WHAT THEY SAID,
"If they found out how we knew what we knew about their, the staff, the Trump staff's dealing with Russians, that they would try to compromise those sources and methods, meaning we would no longer have access to that intelligence. So I became very worried, because not enough was coming out into the open, and I knew that there was more."
- Evelyn Farkas, former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Russia/Ukraine/Eurasia in the Obama Administration, on the Obama administration surveillance of the Trump Administration transition team.
WHAT THEY MEANT,
The Obama Administration found and made public surveillance of the incoming presidential administration.

WHAT THEY SAID,
"Letís be very clear about this: there is no evidence whatsoever that the Trump team was spied on illegally. There is no evidence that backs up the presidentís original claim. We will not insult your intelligence by pretending otherwise, nor will we aid and abet the people who are trying to misinform you, the American people, by creating a diversion."
- CNN host Don Lemon.
WHAT THEY MEANT,
There is no evidence whatsoever that the Trump team was spied on illegally or unmasked illegally by the Obama Administration and we certainly wouldn't tell you if they were. We will not insult your intelligence by pretending we are journalists searching for the truth.

WHAT THEY SAID,
"The Park Service has cared for our parks since 1916, and the president is personally proud to contribute the first quarter of his salary to the important mission of the Park Service,"
- White House press secretary Sean Spicer, on giving President Trump's salary from his first quarter in a check for $78,333.32 to the National Park Service,
WHAT THEY MEANT,
That should help counter some of the budget cuts the president will make to the Park Service budget.

WHAT THEY SAID,
"I know nothing about this, I was surprised to see reports from Chairman Nunes on that account today."
- President Obama's national security adviser Susan Rice, on incidental intelligence collection of Trump transition team being unmasked.
WHAT THEY MEANT,
I was surprised to see reports; I thought I covered my tracks pretty, pretty good.

WHAT THEY SAID,
"As such guys as John McCain and Sen. Ted Cruz made a provocation tantamount to declaration of war against the [Democratic Peopleís Republic of Korea], the DPRK will take steps to counter it,"
- Democratic Peopleís Republic of Korea in a statement replying to John McCain calling Kim Jong Un a "crazy fat kid" and Sen. Ted Cruz calling North Korea a "state sponsor of terrorism."
WHAT THEY MEANT,
We will counter their words with a nuke.

WHAT THEY SAID,
"Well, heís imprisoned, that would make it a little bit difficult."
- Pamela Anderson, on whether she is dating Wikileaks founder Julian Assange who is living at the Ecuadorian embassy in London.
WHAT THEY MEANT,
We just have sex, not really dating.

WHAT THEY SAID,
"Two percent would mean military expenses of some 70 billion euros. I don't know any German politician who would claim that is reachable nor desirable."
- German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel, on meeting their commitment to NATO.
WHAT THEY MEANT,
German politicians would rather the United States taxpayer spend their money on Europe's defense rather than the German people.

WHAT THEY SAID,

- A Sanford, Florida police officer, to Latina Verneta Herring after she called 911 twice about boyfriend Allen Dion Cashe who hours later shot and killed her and her 8-year-old son.
WHAT THEY MEANT,
Weíre going to handle it after you are dead right now we have a donut stop to make.

WHAT THEY SAID,
"If Republicans go nuclear to confirm Gorsuch, that will be their fault and they will bear responsibility,"
- Anna Galland, Executive Director of MoveOn.org Civic Action, on Republicans using a parliamentary procedure that allowing the U.S. Senate to override a rule or precedent by a simple majority of 51 votes, instead of by a supermajority of 60 votes to confirm Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court.
WHAT THEY MEANT,
Democrats bear no responsibility for anything.

WHAT THEY SAID,
"Judge Gorsuch is going to be confirmed, the way in which that occurs is in the hands of the Democratic minority."
- Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.
WHAT THEY MEANT,
The Democrats under Harry Reid set the precedent by going nuclear to appoint court judges and executive nominees during the Obama Administration. If it was good enough for Harry then it is good enough for me now.

WHAT THEY SAID,
"Itís plain and simple: Gorsuch has not earned the votes in the Senate to join the Supreme Court."
- Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez.
WHAT THEY MEANT,
Itís plain and simple: no Republican nominated judge will earn the votes in the Senate to join the Supreme Court.

WHAT THEY SAID,
"They need to change the nominee."
- Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez.
WHAT THEY MEANT,
President Trump needs to nominate a liberal judge if he wants Democratic senators to support his nominee to the Supreme Court.

WHAT THEY MEANT,

WHAT THEY SAID,

- President Donald J. Trump,
WHAT THEY MEANT,
I would rather have China talk some sense into Kim Jong Un but if they can't I will nuke him.

WHAT THEY SAID,
"The White House blasting the press for not reporting on another fake scandal being peddled by right-wing media."
- CNN anchor Chris Cuomo.
WHAT THEY MEANT,
The White House is mad at the mainstream media for only reporting on our left-wing fake scandals.
